[accordian] [toggle title=”The Children” open=”yes”]Every year we witness beautiful successes of the children as they grow and develop, and push themselves further than they ever thought possible, thanks to our many interactive workshops focused on rehabilitation. Seeing a disabled child conquer themselves and climb Ukraine’s highest mountain is unforgettable. Having children be reunited during a chance encounter at a camp, after being separated into different orphanages for years, leaves a lasting impression on everyone. We get to witness children’s many firsts as they are exposed to new activities, excursions, foods, toys, and most of all love, and care from the volunteers. We have the unique opportunity to watch them grow within our programs, and see their progress throughout the years, offering support when needed. [/toggle] [toggle title=”Our Graduates”] We are proud of all our students and graduates which battle all odds against them, and are able to continue with higher education, graduate and obtain work. It is wonderful to see them have stable footing in terms of work, and begin their own families, being able to provide a better life for them, ceasing the unfortunate cycle of abuse and neglect they were faced with.[/toggle] [toggle title=”Orphans returning as Volunteers”] It is always great to have orphaned children return as volunteers after spending time, growing up within our program. They make a conscious decision to help others who are struggling along the same path. They become great guides, motivators and inspirations for other children and volunteers who work along side them. [/toggle] [toggle title=”Our volunteers”] Our volunteers often come back home feeling changed after having spent time working with the organization and these children. Everyone experiences something unique, but most describe having experienced something quite profound, and they keep coming back! Year after year we have seen incredible dedication on the part of our wonderful volunteers. Thank you! [/toggle] [/accordian]
