The Planidin Family Foundation Matching Campaign

The Planidin Foundation is a family foundation based out of Calgary, Alberta. Stemming from the goodwill, compassion and generosity of the family of Phil and Karen Planidin, the Foundation supports worthy organizations across Canada.

As the past year has shown, the horror of war is real. Ongoing military conflict in Ukraine have left many children displaced or disadvantaged, putting added stress on orphanages across the country. Struggling children in Ukraine depend on aid and ongoing support to improve their quality of life.

To help, the Planidin Foundation has partnered with Help Us Help. Founded in 1993, this federally registered Canadian charity is focused on humanitarian aid and educational projects in Ukraine. Help Us Help’s mission is to provide tools, training and resources to improve the lives of Ukraine’s disadvantaged children, helping them reach their full potential.

This important charity is responding to urgent requests from volunteer medics and first responders in Ukraine and assisting residential institutions and orphanages who care for Ukraine’s vulnerable children by collecting, purchasing and distributing medical and humanitarian supplies on the ground.
